Jeans And Roses Blog takes a vacation.

Photos: Pinterest.

Obviously my blog will not be on a summer getaway to an exotic destination, chilling on the hammock and drinking cocktails on the beach; it just means it will experience a short post break for around ten days. If you remember the recent post regarding my blogging tips here, I mentioned the needs and the benefits of occasional blogging breaks. I feel like now is the perfect time to claim my right for one - the hectic summer is slowly coming to its end, the new season will soon come along and so will some new plans and to-do lists. Besides, I have been constantly updating my blog since January and now I need a little boost of enthusiasm and inspiration so I can keep doing it in the months to come.

But I'm not making a complete online absence so, in the meantime, you can follow the updates on:

Instagram - My lifestyle, fashion and make up photography in a square format;

Pinterest- Where you can still enjoy my favorite summer vibes here, or fast forward to fall and plan the fall wardrobe updates with my inspirational looks here;

Facebook page - like it here to see my daily shopping picks and recommendations, and a collection of stylish and perfectly put together looks I would love to wear myself;

My Minipopup.com Store - an online platform that allows me to create my own fashion store with brands such as Nasty Gal, Aldo, Sheinside, NYX Cosmetics and my carefully chosen clothing, accessory and jewellery items. You can shop them here.

Hope everyone will enjoy these last weeks of August. Thank you for loving Jeans And Roses Blog so far
and hope you will love it even more after this little break!

Pinteresting, part three.

Here I am sharing my Pinterest obsessions again! Here I am sharing this wonderful and completely justified online hobby of mine again, introducing my Pinterest account for those who haven't seen it before and including the latest created boards. Almost every single one of them just screams summer, vacation, leisure, beaches, drinks, fashion. And if that is what you are browsing the Pinterest for, I hope you will click on the links below and find the pics interesting and pinning worthy too! Also, make sure to share links to your accounts as well as the recommendations of good inspirational boards to follow bellow!

From luxurious Mykonos sea views to relaxing California sunsets. Soaking up the sun on a deck of a yacht or on a seaside hammock. Feeling the warm sand between your toes or the salt in your hair. Oh! This is, without a doubt, my favorite Pinterest board ever - I love all these pins so much that I would even want to make an entire gallery wall out of them. One look at them here explains why.

When the summer temperatures go beyond bearable it is the refreshing drinks that will come to your rescue - fruit infused water, delicious lemonades or sips of cocktail. Don't you just love these days when your only concern is whether to put the cucumber and lime in you glass of water, or would the raspberry and peach make a nice additions to your lemonade? Hope the recipes on my board here will be these you'll reach out to next time you get thirsty.

Without much introduction and explanation - my favorite print had to have a Pinterest board all of its own.
Just had to. See my inspirations here.

I have just started making a collection of fashion and style related quotes and thoughts, and picking the ones I relate to the most for a new Pinterest board here. My favorite one? "When a woman says I have nothing to wear what she really means is There's nothing here for who I'm supposed to be today." Do we agree?

Happy pinning!

Skin perfectors.

 Photo by me.

There is nothing like a little pampering session for your body: beautifying oils of argan, macadamia, almond and rose; the musky floral scent and the radiant finish of your skin. And all under the budget-friendly price tag. I'm sharing with you today the products that went from the drugstore shelf straight to the top of my body care routine.

Garnier Oil - Infused Nourishing Scrub (get it here). Perfect product to approve the appearance of your skin or prep it for sun exposure and tanning. I'm usually very picky when it comes to body scrubs as most of them contain either too tiny or too harsh exfoliating particles and tend to leave my skin too dry. The cupuacu seeds of Garnier scrub, however, are just the right size to give you the pleasant but effective exfoliating sensation. Skin is left so soft and smooth that you'd feel like you don't need to apply any moisturizer afterwards. Although this scrub should work best with the Nourishing Lotion (here) from the same range, I think it gives the best results when is followed by the body oil.

Garnier Ultimate Beauty Oil (available here). I have mentioned couple of times that, when it comes to body oils, Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse is without a doubt my HG product. But since I consider it to be a luxurious product (price tag wise) I do not use it very much and more often turn to this equally efficient Garnier one. Just like Nuxe, it is a dry oil which means it is more lightweight and will not leave you looking greasy. But what you will get is a very moisturized and sheen skin, and an enhanced suntan. I love applying it on my wet skin by simply spraying it from about 20 cm without even rubbing it. Talking about an effortless but effective skin perfecting!

Illuminated skin - checked. Nourished skin - checked. Perfected skin - checked. If you would like to give your body some extra care this weekend, this nourishing scrub and beauty oil have my best recommendations.

Maybe you have tried them already? Or you use other pampering products that you would like to mention?

Monday wishlist: Sheinside summer sales.

There are plenty of reasons to love summer: sun, sea, sand and yes, sales! Many shops such as Sheinside.com offer up to 70% off of their latest collections so, whether you still look for what to pack to your vacation or just want to update your wardrobe with very affordable dresses, shirts or skirts, now is the perfect time to do so.

My sale pick today? The classic summer staple in the form of a maxi dress. Working perfectly for both hot summer day and night, maxi dress can be paired with a fedora hat and a flat sandals or gladiators for a city stroll; or with massive jewellery pieces and a pair of high heels for a night out at the beach bar. And just in case you still want to flaunt these tanned legs even with a maxi, I'm sure you will love this White Drawstring Split Dress just as much as I do!

Check out the rest of the dresses here. Happy shopping!

Instalove.

No, I did not completely forgot to share my latest Instagram feed favorites here on the blog. The new Instalove posts may be a little belated but will never skipped, and if you are fan of these make sure to scroll down! Usually when I share my monthly picks I kind of stick to a certain theme (so by now you have seen the summer vibes, oh-la-la inspirations and spring pastels) and on the first glance I thought this set is lacking one. But actually, today's theme are very stylish ladies who run their fashion and make up blogs or websites, whose Instagram feeds I have just recently started following and whose photos will make you click the 'follow" button too.

@lucylaucht - Lucy, please fill in the blanks. Current city... New York. Work life... social media at J.Crew. Your style is... pants and a good heel. Can't live without... a passport. You'd really like to... travel the world and take beautiful photographs.
 Intrigued by this little Q&A? Then check out her photos!

@seewantshop - Looking for a Australian based blogger with great sense of style and photography? Well, look no further.

@grace_jayde - makes up products reviews and recommendations have never been this eye appealing.
And if you love the make up flatlay photos, embrace yourself!

@fakeleather - 24 years old Mexico-based Adriana claims she started her blog because of "boredom and the need of a place to talk about not just fashion we see it on magazines and editorials, but a more wearable, affordable and daily fashion". But, in my opinion, her looks and photography are magazine and editorials worthy too.

@louiseroe - When it comes to Louise Roe, I believe you don't need much of an introduction. But if you are in a need of a peek into the lifestyle and daily outfits of this incredibly sweet and stylish tv-host, then her Instagram feed is the best choice.

Hope you liked my recommendations and if you have yours too, don't be shy to leave some!
Or to follow my feed here! Hope you are having a nice weekend!
